George Clooney interviewed on the red carpet at the 2006 Spirit Awards.  He talks about independent films and the difficulty of creating them because of the lack of feasibiity for big studios to finance them.

As usual, humble George jokes about how he paid off the academy to secure an Oscar win. He also jokes about Daniel Day Lewis’ bad acting. Funniest of all, towards the endo of the interview he jokes aout his buddy Brad Pitts stretch marks.

The interview felt a bit uncomfortable because George kept on talking and didn’t give Sarah enough microphone time. You’ll understand what I mean at the end of the clip when the interviewer says to Sarah “and you”.

In this March 2008 New York Times Style Magazine George talks about his first acting role, the favourite  movie as a kid (Mary Poppins), the first movie he took a date to (Taxi Driver?!) and even talks about his stint with sports.  We do not actually here the interview questions, only the answers and its set in a black room with only his face lit. Pretty cool!

George Clooney cracks jokes after receiving the Top Spot Award in September 2007 for his work on the Nespresso commercial. Pretty funny but the broken award prank has been done one too many times George!
